Nanshan Aluminum Roller Hearth Furnace Project: Passed the Provincial Major Science and Technology Innovation Project Acceptance

On December 8, the Shandong Provincial Department of Science and Technology organized experts to conduct a comprehensive performance evaluation of the 2019 Shandong Province Major Science and Technology Innovation Project "Research and Development of Roller-bottom Continuous Solution Quenching Technology and Equipment for Medium and Thick Aluminum Alloy Plates for Aviation" undertaken by Nanshan Aluminum.

This project is a major provincial scientific and technological innovation project organized by Nanshan Group Technology Center, Nanshan Aluminum and Northeastern University. The project has developed high-uniform heating devices and systems, high-strength quenching devices and high-uniformity cooling systems, high-precision heat treatment furnace fully automatic intelligent control systems, etc. It has developed special high-temperature resistant metal brush rollers and metal brush roller installation technology for aluminum alloy medium and thick plate roller furnaces, and built a continuous solid solution quenching production line for aluminum alloy roller bottom for aviation use, which is mainly used in the heat treatment process of aviation aluminum materials, breaking the foreign technology monopoly and achieving significant economic and social benefits.

After field investigation and on-site reporting, the expert group unanimously agreed that the project met the requirements of the comprehensive performance evaluation, the comprehensive performance evaluation opinion was excellent, and agreed to pass the acceptance.

The successful acceptance of this project is another demonstration case of the company's industry-university-research cooperation.
