Research Platform

In August 2010, with the approval of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Postdoctoral Management Committee, the Nanshan Group Postdoctoral Research Station was officially established. Since its establishment, the company has fully utilized its innovative advantages in the integration of teaching, research and production, and has achieved remarkable scientific research results. As of June 2024, a total of 36 postdoctoral fellows have been recruited, and 1 China Postdoctoral Fund project, 1 Shandong Province Postdoctoral Innovation Talent Support Program project, 1 Shandong Province Postdoctoral Innovation Project, and 6 Shandong Natural Science Foundation projects have been hosted; 2 national key R&D programs and 24 group scientific research program projects have been participated in, nearly 100 papers have been published, of which 45 are included in SCI and 13 are included in EI, 29 national authorized invention patents have been obtained, and the project funds and scientific research results have been transformed to more than 100 million yuan, which has effectively promoted the innovative development of various industries in Nanshan and the improvement of innovative achievements of Yantai Nanshan College.

Nanshan Group established the Nanshan Aluminum Control Center, which is a key functional department of Shandong Nanshan Aluminum. The company has built a scientific and comprehensive control platform, focusing on the supervision and inspection of the operation of the technology, quality, system and other business of Nanshan Aluminum's subordinate enterprises, and providing high-quality guarantees and services for downstream enterprises such as intermediate alloys and inspection and testing.
Driven by scientific and technological innovation and taking the entire industrial chain as the best development advantage, the company strives to improve quality from Nanshan manufacturing to Nanshan creation, connects with international standards, and has successively established internationally leading scientific research and testing platforms. It mainly established the National Aluminum Alloy Pressure Processing Engineering Technology Research Center, Hangxin Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (Testing Center), and Nanshan Aluminum Pilot Workshop (Pilot Base). A national-level technical center was established, and the central laboratory undertakes the quality inspection of Nanshan aluminum's incoming raw materials and outgoing products. It has a variety of advanced imported testing equipment such as the German OBLF direct-reading spectrometer, the Israeli Vision H500 cross-section measuring instrument, the Japanese Olympus metallographic microscope, and the German Zeiss metallographic microscope to ensure product quality and factory qualification rate.
