Surface treatment is divided into the following processes:

Anodizing: This is a common surface treatment method for aluminum profiles, which improves its corrosion resistance and hardness by forming an oxide film on the surface of the aluminum profile. The thickness and color of the oxide film can be adjusted as needed.

Electrophoretic coating: This is a way of electrophoretically coating the aluminum profile surface to form a uniform coating, improving its corrosion resistance and appearance. Electrophoretic coating can use different coatings to meet different needs.

Spraying: This is a way of spraying paint onto the surface of aluminum profiles to create different colors and textures. Spraying can use different coatings, such as polyester, polyurethane and epoxy resin. Spraying processes include electrostatic powder spraying and fluorocarbon spraying.

Electrostatic powder spraying: Using the principle of electrostatics, powder coating is evenly sprayed on the surface of aluminum profiles to form a strong, beautiful and corrosion-resistant coating.

Fluorocarbon spraying: Aluminum profiles are sprayed with fluorocarbon coatings to improve their resistance to UV radiation, weathering and corrosion. The fluorocarbon spraying process usually includes multiple layers of coating such as primer, topcoat and clearcoat to form a tough and beautiful coating.

‌T4 state‌: T4 state is the state of natural aging after solution treatment. The aluminum profile in this state has lower hardness and better deformability, which is suitable for later processing such as bending.

‌T5 state‌: T5 state is the state of incomplete artificial aging after solution treatment. The aluminum profile in this state has a higher hardness and is suitable for applications that require higher hardness, such as curtain walls.

‌T6 state‌: T6 state is the state of complete artificial aging after solution treatment. The aluminum profile in this state has the highest hardness and is suitable for occasions with extremely high requirements for material hardness.

The definitions and performance characteristics of these states are as follows:

‌T4‌: Solution treatment + natural aging, low hardness and good deformability.

‌T5‌: Solution treatment + incomplete artificial aging, higher hardness and moderate deformability.

‌T6‌: Solution treatment + complete artificial aging, highest hardness and lowest deformability.
