Nanshan Aluminum won multiple association awards!

Recently, the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and the China Nonferrous Metals Society issued certificates for the 2024 China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award. Nanshan Aluminum (stock code: 600219) won multiple awards for its outstanding achievements in the development and promotion of national standards for aviation aluminum alloy plates, green recycled high-end aluminum alloys, and recycled aluminum raw materials, once again demonstrating its leading position and technological innovation capabilities in the nonferrous metals industry.

First Prize

The project "Green Recycled High-end Aluminum Alloy Industrialization Complete Technology Equipment and Application" jointly submitted by Nanshan Aluminum and Beijing University of Science and Technology won the first prize for technological invention.

The project is dedicated to the research and development and industrial application of green recycled high-end aluminum alloys. Through innovative technical equipment and process flows, it has achieved the recycling of high-end aluminum alloys, which not only improves resource utilization, but also effectively reduces production costs and environmental pollution, setting an example for promoting the sustainable development of my country's aluminum industry.

First Prize

The project "Key Technologies and Engineering Applications for Residual Stress Control of Large-Sized Aviation Aluminum Alloy Plates" jointly submitted by Nanshan Aluminum and Youyan Engineering Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. won the first prize in science and technology.

The project conducted in-depth research and innovation to address the technical difficulties in controlling residual stress in aviation aluminum alloy plates during processing, successfully achieved effective regulation of residual stress, improved the performance and stability of aviation aluminum alloy plates, and made important contributions to the development of my country's aviation industry.

Second Prize

Nanshan Aluminum also achieved remarkable results in the research and promotion of a series of national standards for recycled aluminum raw materials and won the second prize.

The national standards for recycled aluminum raw materials related to this project not only regulate the production and use of recycled aluminum raw materials, but also improve the quality and safety of recycled aluminum raw materials, laying a solid foundation for promoting the development of my country's recycled aluminum industry. As a leading enterprise in the non-ferrous metals industry, Nanshan Aluminum has always adhered to the development strategy of "innovation-driven, high-end manufacturing, and deep processing", and continued to increase investment in technology research and development. In 2024, it also won awards from multiple associations in terms of standard formulation, revision and brand building.

Among them, Nanshan Aluminum’s products that have been rated as high-quality brands in Shandong Province by the Shandong Quality Evaluation Association include: "Nanshan brand aluminum alloy strips for can bodies", "Nanshan brand aluminum alloy plates and strips for can lids and pull rings", "Nanshan brand cold-rolled strips for aluminum foil" and "Nanshan brand aluminum and aluminum alloy foil".

Nanshan Aluminum’s drafting of the industry standard “Aluminum Alloy Plates and Strips for Car Body Coverings” was awarded the first prize of the “Technical Standard Excellence Award” by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Nonferrous Metals. It also participated in the drafting of the national and industry standards “Quantification Methods and Requirements for Carbon Footprint of Greenhouse Gas Products - Electrolytic Aluminum”, “Aluminum and Aluminum Alloy Plates and Strips for General Industry”, and “Alloy Wires for Grain Refining of Aluminum and Aluminum Alloys”, which won the second and third prizes of the “Technical Standard Excellence Award” respectively.

In the future, Nanshan Aluminum will continue to uphold the concept of innovative development, enhance its brand image, expand its market share, and promote technological progress and industrial upgrading in the nonferrous metals industry.
