Nanshan Aluminum's outstanding case won the Environmental Management Award

Recently, the 2024 ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) Management System Conference for Listed Companies was held in Beijing, and Nanshan Aluminum's case "Circular and Low-Carbon, Towards a Green New "Aluminum" Process" was selected as an "Excellent Case of Environmental Management Practice".

In recent years, Nanshan Aluminum has built a high-quality recycled aluminum grade-preserving comprehensive utilization project, which can produce 150,000 tons of recycled aluminum annually, effectively alleviating the contradiction between supply and demand of electrolytic aluminum, and forming a complete closed loop of "alumina-electrolytic aluminum-high-end manufacturing-recycled aluminum" to achieve energy conservation, emission reduction and clean production in the industrial chain, and meet the requirements of downstream customers for low-carbon and energy-saving.

In terms of enabling the industrial chain, Nanshan Aluminum has successfully developed all-aluminum body products that are particularly in line with the requirements of automobile lightweighting, becoming the first company in the domestic A-share market to supply automobile outer panels, breaking the foreign monopoly. In addition, the company is also fully committed to achieving the goals of resource lightweighting, waste resource utilization, recycling and recovery, enabling the green development of the entire industrial chain, and contributing valuable experience to the green and low-carbon transformation of the aluminum processing industry.
